Is your budget $2k specifically?

I'd either go Haswell-E or wait for Skylake which is right around the corner.

i just need a computer to do my game building and video editing and recording games so i usually having to restart between switching programs because one program slows it down (sony vegas, xsplit, unity 3d)
Why xsplit because fraps doesnt work. it freeses my pc.

Just throw a better video card and possibly PSU in your current build. You gain practically nothing by replacing everything else, and going AMD would actually give you less single threaded performance than you have currently.

Well now.... With a budget of 2K go with Intel... If you were working with $500-600, I'd say AMD as it's cost effective.
He is going with a $2k budget build. And for my $600 budget build everyone was saying go with an i3 over the AMD anyways.
