computers brake our social life!

I have myspace & IM... I have a social life... :-)

I think mine went out the door when I got high speed and a wife.
I think the career thing buggered things up as well.

It's much been proven to scientific standard that certain things are addictive. Yes, I will agree that the point of addictiveness depends on the person. Certainly some objects are more addicting than others. I've known many people/former friends who went into a downward spiral cause of drugs mainly. It's quite ignorant to say things like drugs or technology isn't addictive because sometimes it or they are.

EDIT: I've personally experienced different addictive drugs, and I must saying even having a strong will, I still have thoughts sometimes.
 
computer do not break social lives, it is the person who uses it constantly that does

sure I am on my pc a lot, but I do not game, so I am not on that long at a time
I spend the weekends with my friends and family/working during the day

I love my social life
 
i have a social life too, but i still spend some valuable time on the ole pc...i have very few other friends who use the pc as much as i do.
