Computers crashing

my friend said that the reason a computer may crash is if you have too many programs open and its your fault.

is this true and what are some of the reasons for this? and what experiences have people had? :)
 
NO its just your CPU is running out of CPU %..

so you need to check and see how you got and run it.

How much RAM MB do you have running on your processor?

Your CPU % decreses when u haev a lot of programs.. so ya that is true lol.//

but ya.. chekc it

dont want to sound stupid but how do i know that?

a computer can crash from viruses, spyware, hardware problems, overheating..

so many things! im pretty lucky but there are times when it just happens and im in the middle of editing or something. thanks guys!
