Hey guys,

im concearned that my system is not performing as good as it should.

Im a gamer so i play games..... i COD4 maxed out at 1680x1050 and only get around 91FPS....it doesnt ever go above that.

no lag ever.

also...i tried out the new Grid demo,i set all settings to maximum and when the game started when the cars show it stutters very bad and locks up:cool: ,then i restarted my system and set the graphics to medium and 2x AA and the game still lags at times but playable at 51fps.

is it me or should a 8800GT be able to handle these games?

also i heard that my 3d mark 06 scores were quite low for my system.

it was around 11K

Whats up?

EDIT:Just incase it matters,my siggy says vista x64 (im currently running Vista Ultimate 32 bit due to having problems with 64 bit) :)

tks

Try putting a higher divider on your RAM, get it around 800Mhz or higher... That may help!

Also, Have you considered OC'ing your GT?

morning dan,

i could put a higher devider,last time i had it at 824mhz.

nah i dont want to OC my GT,i shouldnt have to should i its already a beast

im pretty sure oscaryu1 is right that it might be my cpu  but it just doesnt seem right.

I think there's a limit on COD4 to 91FPS, me and my mate play COD4 a lot and it never goes over that!

That's true, actually! I've never seen it go above 91 in Multiplayer.... In SP, I get about 120 FPS.

Yeah, I'd put it @ 824MHz, make sure you have the RAM at what the manufacturer specifies... ;)

Yeah, It is a beast of a card, but you could get a little more out of it! :P

Oh sorry, I meant Single Player.

I'm sure you get it to BOOT at 824Mhz. Use, 5-5-5-15 timings. ;)
