Conecting Laptop to TV

Hello everybody,
I want to connect my laptop to my TV via an s cable. My laptop has 7 prongs and my tv has 4 prongs. Is there any way i can still connect these and if so does anybody have any good websites to purchase them from. I was thinking maybe if i purchased the 7 prong cable maybe i could get an adaptor to conect this to a 4 prong TV.

Not sure. Any advice and help would be much appreciated.

yes it is. if your laptop has a s-video interface or a dvi output you can conect your lap to the tv.on your tv screen you will see the image of your laptop screen. as far as i know the other way around(to watch tv channels on the llaptop) is not possible, coz i never heard of a laptop having a tv tunner mounted onboard.

O K............... Here's the problem

My computer has a 7 pin S video input. My TV has a 4 pin. If you look at the input and count the holes you will know how many pin the S VIDEO is. Now i want to know if i buy a cable with 7 pins on each end, can i buy an adapter to comect to the 7 pins on the cable and insert onto the 4 pin input on the TV. I hope this is clearer.
