im looking for a pc configuration that can help me for gaming,
this is what i want to get:
intel core 2 quad q9400 or Q9550
mb asus p5q se intel p45
4 gb ram 800 Mhz
nViidia 9800 gt 1gb ddr3 256 bit

and a SAMSUNG SM2343NW 23 inch

im not intouch with the hardware lately so i need some help and good idvice?

will it play games like crysis on MAX and what fps?

What's your budget? A Core i5 setup would be much better for about the same price.

That 9800GT won't play Crysis anywhere near high settings.

Look into a GTX series card or a HD 48XX or 58XX.

That would probably get you High settings with no AA, but not Ultra High.
It would be playable.

What is your budget...

Bummer. You're a couple hundred dollars away from a top end Intel build.

Oh well, a Phenom II setup will best fit your budget, and the performance won't disappoint.

That HD 4890 is better than a 9800GTX, just so you know.

They would in an SLI setup, yes.

Put those components in place of what I posted and it costs more.

Also, I don't think those two 9800GT's will outperform an HD 4890.
Also, socket 775 is End Of Life, so no new processors will come out
for your board, therefore, you could never upgrade it, unlike the Phenom II
build I posted.
