I see a lot of AMD fanboys in this forum.
My friend a pentium at 6GHz can easily outperform AMD at 3GHz. I'm not saying 7GHz, just 6GHz
So a Pentium needs twice the speed to outperform AMD......point proven lol.

The comparison beng made is on dual core not single core model cpus. But let's see a relative comparison made by AMD at http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/con...sets/AMD_v_Intel_Performance_Comp_Q2-2006.pdf page #2
And the winner is... http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10442_7-6389077-9.html

I beg to differ. My P4 at 3.5ghz sucked ass at multitasking. Course it didnt have HT, but still, it wasnt as good as my pervious Athlon OCed at 2ghz from stock 1.6ghz.
Here ends it. Pentium 4 vs. Athlon:
Pentium 4 sucks the Athlons you know what.
Athlon pwns Pentium 4. Plain and simple.
