Confused... I just installed a Ultra Kaze fan on my case

and installed another 4 gigs of ram in my machine and my temps r reading 5-8 degrees C hotter then they were before installing this stuff... is there a reason for this?...

Note: i get my new heat sink in about 3 days and will be installing a Ultra kaze 120 mm fan on that also

the ram is producing that much more heat? the fan is ment to cool not heat it up lol

Did you put the fan as intake, or exhaust? Did you remove your heatsink and not replace the thermal compound?

the fan on the case is a intake.. and i havent gotten my new heatsink yet.. that wont be here till thursday...

The new fan could have messed up the airflow in the case. It could have tipped the balanced of the negative/positive airflow. Try taking it out and see what happens.
