Hi. I have a 7600GS currently installed on my system. I like to play games especially football ones. I am lately playing the demo of PES 2008 and it runs very slow (unplayable) on the highest resolution on my 22" screen. I have to play it on 1024*768 resolution.

So I thought to upgrade to the 8600GT however I read somewhere that the performance of this card is very close to that of the 7600GS which I have.

I would go for the 8800 however that is too expensive for me right now.

Could you please suggest me something? Should I remain with the same card and wait for prices to go down? Should I change and if yes to what?
 
Id take a look at the 8600gts if you're on a somewhat tight budget (for DX 10) if not look for a 7900gt or 7950gt.
 
I wouldn't go for the 8600GTS either (although it's better).

I would go with the 7950GT if you cant afford an 8800GTS.
 
Is there somewhere reliable and with good prices online to buy hardware such as graphics cards and that ships in all Europe (I live in Malta).
