Hi all,
I recently switched from TDS Telecom service to Time Warner Cable for my internet. We had the 15Mbps package with TDS, now we have the 10Mbps package with Time Warner. Since the switch, I feel like my connection has suffered drastically and I decided to check the speed on speedtest.net. I am great with computers and hardware, but I suck at anything networking and internet-ish related so I need some help because I got confusing results.
We're paying for 10Mbps, but I'm getting 21.90Mbps download, but only .98Mbps upload. Am I mistaken, or should those numbers be the same? I was just wondering because to live stream with certain programs I use, I need something like 2.5Mbps on upload, but I saw somewhere people saying that MBps and mbps were completely different quantities. So just looking for some help. Thank you for your assistance.
