connect computer to 2 monitors

Hi, i have a samsung 32 inch tv and i have a 26 inch hp monitor. I already have my samsung connected to my computer via vga cables. i want to connect my other monitor via usb to vga converter. the problem is that i've heard that depending on what kind of computer u have it might not work or support it or soemthing with the graphics card. I have a HP Pavilion a6210z CTO Desktop PC. thanks a lot!!
 
Couple things I guess:

1) You will suffer a quality loss with a usb adapter even if it is compatible.

2) If you get a video card that supports multi display, you will be a lot better off
