connect router to wireless network

ok hears the deal. I have a linksys wireless g router broadcasting in my house. my office area is no where near lan cable range. I have a extra linksys router (same exact model) can I set the second router up to pick up the signal from the router and then plug computers into it like an accesspoint???

yes, however you will need to use a 3rd party firmware. i like dd-wrt because it will do exactly what you are asking for, HOWEVER, READ THE COMPADABILITY CHART ON THE SITE BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT IT! there is a possability that it will fail and brick your system. the chances are slim if you make sure the version and model is compadable and you follow all the instructions and you connect via lan to the interface. if you do get the dd-wrt working you can then bridge the two together and use it as a wireless hub
