hey guys
I Just bought a 32" Samsung Series 5 Full HD TV for my computer room.
Now, we decided it would be pretty awesome to conect it to the PC, so we can watch movies on the big screen (and play a few games)
now i went out and bought a cheapish HDMI cable ($20). I dont need the best picture, just something i can live with (and i can definatly live with the picture that comes out of it now)
now, the TV has 2 types of HDMI inputs. HDMI/DVI and HDMI (numbered)
i plugged it into the normal HDMI plug (number 2, as im assuming the HDMI/DVI is for when you use a DVI cable with HDMI convertor)
now, the problem is, there is no sound.
I tried putting a 3.5mm jack to AV audio plug in, with no luck.
i have tried changing default devices, again, no luck.
what am i missing here?
I read something about a header on the GFX card has to be connected to the Mobo, but i dont have a cable that does that... and i need more details if this is the case
the GFX card is a 9800GT.
Picture works perfect, its just sound that is the issue.
Thanks for the help
