Connecting 2 computers

Can the experts out there tell me what choices I have to connect 2 computers up? One is Windows 7, the other is Linux Mint. They will share 1 mouse, 1 keyboard, and 2 monitors. I would prefer the two monitors to work with both computers.

You can use a dual-monitor KVM (Example, 4-port Dual-monitor KVM) to switch your peripherals between systems.

If you want to communicate between the two machines, then you will have to network them.
