Connecting between Two Computers...

Ok... We have a computer here at home (the one im on now) and my dad has a computer down at the fire department. He wants to know if there is a way to connect the computers so when he enters his reports into THIS computer.. It can somehow transmit to the other computer without the reports being typed into the computers twice. He is using Firehouse Software.

just save the report on a thumb drive and bring it home. otherwise, i've heard of a service that offers that, but there's a monthly fee for it.

Well you could use LogMeIn, which can remotely view and access another computer, so you can control the screen and such, as well as transfer files back and forth. So you could work on the document here, then copy it to the firehouse computer.
