Connecting to an existing wirless network - using xp

I have XP professional and Im trying to connect to my existing wireless network that I use on my desktop computer but I cant figure out how using the wizards on this laptop. Can someone tell me a simple guide on how to set it up. I have the wireless network key and password and everything. Thanks.:D
 
If your wireless driver is installed properly then you should have a wireless icon in your tray by the clock and you can click on that and then click on view available wireless networks and connect to yours using your security key.
 
Then look in network connections to see if it is listed there. If not, look in device manager for any devices that need drivers installed.

I just noticed i'm helping you with your other thread, it sounds like you need to install all the appropriate drivers needed for your laptop.
