Connecting to another computer?????

Hi, is there a program that I can download for free that connects to any computer via IP that lets me see what the person is doing and also search his files and programs?

Are you trying to connect locally on the LAN, or over the internet?

are yuo using your wan ip?
use this ip. http://www.ip-adress.com/

also take down your firewall untill ya getting it working.
Dont forget the router if ya have one.

your router needs some basic information virtual server like 192.168.1.252.
this would be your lan addy. then ya need server ports. something
general that will work will be vnc 5800,5900.

I'm basically asking the same question as above, but which IP did you use to try and connect to the computer over the internet?

ipconfig/all from the command prompt. (run cmd). if its from within the network then it will be the ip address.

http://whatismyip.com/ this link will show the wan side. (over the internet).

figure this out one time you will also be ready for ftp.
