connecting to xbox live

Okay so I have never had a problem with this until I reformatted my computer and now I'm stumped. I have my XBOX 360 connected to my computer which is connected to the internet. Now the xbox is the local area connection. The thing is, the xbox cannot find ip address. I have the wireless connection shared. I made the local area connection auto find ip but it won't find it and just says "limited or no connectivity". I have a linksys router and a netgear adapter. I have never had this problem in the past. PLEASE help

I found that if i re share the wireless connection I can connect to xbox live UNTIL I turn the xbox off. (then i have to do that all over)

Are you sharing the internet connection from your pc to your xbox? Once you reformat you have to reset up internet connection sharing.
