I am attempting to connect a USB Interface Card (2 Ports) to my motherboard of a brand new Dell computer (Its a Studio XPS 8100). The USB card is from my old computer that my friend put together about 4 years ago.
First question is whether I can use this on this new computer... though I don't see why not.
Second question is where do I connect the two cords from the usb card to the mother board. A friend who is helping me thinks he knows, but isn't for sure. He thinks they will go in the area that I drew a pink rectangle around in the picture of the motherboard. Do they go there? and if so, which goes to which?
