connection problem

i have comcast cable internet and netgear router but sometimes some sites work and sometimes they dont work. it seems like my connection would randomly drop how can i fix this problem.

I would check you router for some updates for starters

also you can unplug your cable modem for about 20 sec then plug it back in ... That will hard reset it
