im having an issue with my connection, on my old computer it seems to be connected but internet explorer will not work, every time i open it up i get the screen that says "diagnose connection problems" so ill click that and i get...
windows cannot connect to the internet using HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP. this is
probably caused by firewall settings on this computer.
check the firewall settings for the HTTP port (80). HTTPS (443) and FTP
port (21)
right now it has a cat5 cable going to the router, which worked fine until i got some sort of virus that downloaded a security thing that blocked EVERY thing, and kept asking me to buy it. i got rid of that but im having this problem now. also i tried uploading some pics to photo bucket which didn't work, im guessing it has something to do with this.
any suggestions?
