My friend is having this problem with her internet, and the reason she cant check herself is because she has no connectivity.
Problem as described: Comes home one day, and connects (she has a d-link Usb modem which you have to manually connect with) to the internet, as usual, she gets connected and the little blue computer screen icon thingy comes up. However she cannot go onto firefox, IE, or play world of warcraft. When she opens firefox, the loading bar does not appear, and the homepage (and any other page she enters) cannot be found. World of warcraft tries to connect but hangs on the connection screen.
From what I've said, can anyone offer any ideas? If you need more specific info, then please let me know, and I can ring her and ask her the questions.
