Why? It's a perfectly reasonable comparison. Add to the fact that X2s are in good supply and their price is dropping rapidly.

X2's make a nice gaming budget processor. But there is really no comparison when it comes to performance.

You know, from looking through these the AMDs are actually holding there own in most of the benchmarks. Usually, the top 2 or 3 are the high end Conroes, but the high end AMD FXs and X2s are up here.

And we are looking at a <10% difference in most of the benchmarks from the EX6800 and the FX-62.; the difference is bigger for the X2 5000+, but still not "blown away" (maybe 25%).

yes, the Conroes are better, but I wouldn't say AMD is "blown away" and AMD still makes viable processors.

haha funny... we've proven that conroe is more overclockable than even the best cooled fx-60. check out the 3dmark06 thread.
