Does anyone know if theres a way to play console games on the PC, like playstaion/Xbox etc. games by putting the cd in ur comp.? I know theres emulators for some things like Nintendo, but I was trying to figure if theres anyway to play these newer games on your PC, maybe by getting a special chi[p or software or something?

so that you don't need to buy an xbox/playstation. There are probably emulators out there for it, I know the Playstation has been emulated on PC such that you buy PSOne games and put the disc in your CD drive but I don't know about the PS2/Xbox.

i dont think theres any decnt emulators out there for PS2 and XBOX, being the newest consoles, they are much harder to emulate

So far there is no playable XBOX or PS2 emulator that I know. although there's one emulator for XBOX which claims can play Halo . I tried but I can't even get the emulator to start. the name of the emulator is XEON.

well i have modded my xbox to emu all the old games. i work at a video game store and talk games all day. there are, i think, two halfway decent ps2 emus out there, but the roms for them are nearly impossible to find. as far as xbox emus, ive heard of them, and have even heard of cracks for the disk formats to play them on your compy, but have yet to actually attempt it, as to lack of time, and lack of desire, since i have an xbox...

try www.xbox365.com or the links off their page, there are a couple good ones out there, i just cant remember what they are off the top of my head...

theres a great PS2 one. theres this crazy kid in my math class that was one of the guys who worked on it. I'm sure you can find a link toit somewhere, but they are actulyl selling them. for like 50$ or something like that.
