Console hooked up to PC

Ok guys, well I was just wondering how any of you guys hook up your consoles to your computer to use the monitor. I mean I like to use my ps2 through my computer on my monitor and I run it through a leadtek TV2000xp tv tuner card, but it looks like crap and is really dark. Have any of you guys found a effective way to do this.
 
I used to directly from my 360 to my monitor using the HD VGA Cable. Now my new monitor has component inputs so I can use those.
 
Capturecards such as like what you have run at 720x480x29.97FPS interlaced just like a TV. Then it's converted to your NON-interlaced monitor which is why the quality's no good. As for the darkness and what not, you could probably adjust the setting somewhat and make it lighter, but still, it's not going to look "perfect" or better than on your TV, by any means.
