Console WAR!!!

I think that no console is better than another, each has it's own ups and downs, so I'd call it more of a console standoff, yeah, that sounds good.
 
Elam kinda summed up what I was gunna say about it but I thought I would put my word in for the hell of it.

The first thing I have to say is that I read the xbox360 being white, well so is the ****ing ps3 dumbass. I also think that the xbox360 is a bit better than the ps3 in the fact that it has more games and more power, but the ps3 does have some nice (NICE) real time graphics. I think that they are kinda even in that. Now on with the dreamcast, I happen to like it in tha fact that it was the first with a bunch of new features (how many consols have a removable memory card with a screen). And finaly onto the handhelds, The psp has to be the bast damn hand held in the world.

And I think the only real loser in all this is nintendo, WTF! The revolution and the "do" button? Plus the DS sucked ass. The realy nead new games too.

The X-Box's sales don't even come close to the number of PS'2s sold...get your facts strait.

the new PS3 controllers look crap they look like the 4.99 cheap controllers that you skivs buy.

p.s no offence to the people that buy them.
 
if you want a truly great console get the Nintendo revolution when it comes out.

you will be able to play over 20 years of ninty's games

and as for the PS3 and XBOX 360 they are only after good graphics.

Nintendo go for innovation and new things

good graphics will only take you so far what you need is something fresh and new. which is what the Big N is goin for again

thats because they knew they couldnt compete with microsoft or sony, so they went for clever/new ideas

it is only cause of people like u

nintendo offer new things not like the PS2

Sony - Same game new interface

Microsoft - good graphics poor gameplay ah it'll do
 
people like me? wtf, N64 is my favourite console off all time. what i mean is, after the PS2, xbox and gamecube, they could of guessed theyd be out performed in the graphics department. i knew it, so i think they should of too
 
and apparantly from what i have just been reading on aother site about the PS3

ha i reckon that console is not gonna be able to perform as well as they say it is.

and by the way nintendo are not releasing all their specs cause it is not graphics or power that make a console "next gen"

they are gonna be showing new ideas again

so all you sony and bill gates lovers need your heads checking
 
Everyone knows the Revolution is just a pile of crappy hardware and media slapped together so that the price is cheaper. (Nintendo's main selling point)

When they made the Nes that was basicly the only "new" main system then when SNES came out there was more of a competition with sega and thE GENESIS, anfd then when N64 came out there was also competition with sony, so the sales went down even more. Each time there was a new competitor.Then for the gamecube, there was microsoft and sony, no sega so its still only 2 competitors but microsoft is very well known.
 
i think the only reason that te ps2 is sold better that he xbox, is cuz of the ps1.
nintendo had a name of haveing child games, and so its nothin for the "cool guys"

i think, if all brands were new, they would have selled even.
i mean, all the nxt gen consoles are great, and have great grafics (ngb: rogue leader 2/3, metoid prime. ps2: socom2, ghost in the shell, xbox: halo, forza, doa3)

I've got them all at home atm, and play with all of them. (the only thing i dont quite like are the ps2 gamepads :P ) and i play a lo with them. so im not saying 1 console is better that 1 other.

actually the ps3 comes in white, black, and i think metalic.

the deamcast the same good graphics as the ps2 and the xbox although it was unstable and sega went out of buissness bc they released it to early, when ps2 came out everyone went for that and droped their dreamcasts.

xbox was pretty good but i favour ps2 for its awsome games.

and i am sceptical about anything that nintendo puts out after the flop of the game cube.
 
The XBox will also have interchangable face plates. The PS2 was out a year earlier than the xbox so of course it would have better sales.

And after seeing the previews for the new Zelda game i'm thinking of buying the new revolution just for that.
