hehe... for what purpose? to put it on papers so they dont blow away? then i'd say a pc, since you can have multiple piles covered using the mouse and keyboard..
I'm quite sure this has been covered pretty extensively a few times here, but I'll just say it again
PC's are more powerful than consoles, no questions asked. However, consoles can use 100% of their power towards games. A PC is still obstructed by the OS and other such factors. Consoles are also better optimsed for their hardware. Windows is made to work with most any PC every built, and beyond(well, up to Vista Hehe)
For gamming, consoles will have the upper hand for a little while. But soon enough things will level out. Personally, I still think the PS2 keeps up quite well with current PC games. But then again, I'm not a hard core gammer
A PC can do a lot more than a game console. If I had to choose one for only gaming, it would definitely be a console. I find it much easier to game on a console, its simple.
PC...
FPS - i cant shoot sh*t without a mouse.
RTS - games suck without mouse.
Racing games - they all got wheel joysticks.
Fighting games - mostly on consoles but doable on PC with the right gamepad.
And for some reason console RPGs are different than PC RPGs.....like 2 different genres almost....
so PC always wins for me.... though I will always have at least 1 console for other sorts of fun (Wii!!!!!!!).
Of course PCs will always have the ability for better graphics because who do consoles rely on for graphics? ATI and NVIDIA and they are always making faster graphics cards.
