Constant 12V to CPU Cooler.....

It's not necessarily a problem but rather annoying but my mobo seems to be sending a constant 12V to my CPU cooler.... It say it's supposed to be cool and quiet supported but from day one it's been sending a constant 12V..... I download the new mob bios and drivers and downloaded the new processor drivers but it's still at 12V...... Is Gigabyte labeling the wrong features on their products or what?

Is your fan still spinning at full RPMs even when your cpu is cool?

Yup...... My idle temps are actually at 29C because it's on full blast......

Is the CPU fan connected to the motherboard, or directly to the power supply?

try using something like speedfan or some sort of thing that came with your mobo, like i use SMARTGuardian, ASUS uses ASUS probe i think...

Umm.... Could you tell me how because checking the 'automatic fan speed' dosn't work on Speedfan.....

Is there an option to set the CPU fan speeds manually within the BIOS?

Maybe, I have to check but I want it to adjust automatically though......
