Constant crashes at launch

The problem is, everytime I start certain game- I click "New Game" and it crashes back to Windows with no error...The games are :
Black And White 2
The Movies
GUN

My specs are :
AMD Athlon™ XP 2700+ Processor (2.167 GHz) with QuantiSpeed™ architecture
Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition
1 GB Corsair Memory
VIA KM 400 Chipset
4x DVD±RW Drive; 16x Max. DVD-ROM Drive; 3.5" 1.44MB FDD
Sound Blaster Live 24-bit
Sapphire Radeon 9600XT

I already tried to re-install the whole system but it didn't help...if anyone knows, Please HELP :confused:

It could be because your CPU or video card are over heating. Download speedfan and tell us your cpu temp, and go into ati catalyst control center and tell us the temp of your video card.
 
It could also be your PSU is going out so when you get speedfan post the voltages to. you can also go to the event viewer to see any errors that happen at that time.
 
Ight this is what I got...I kno that the CPU temp isn't good,but i can get it down easily by just taking my computer out of the furniture,so there shouldn't be problems about that... Do u guys have any concerns about the voltages ?



My Videocard Temperature is 41-44 C . Runs at 527 MHZ...
