okay, my husbands computer is one or 2 yrs old. its windows xp home, and lately the screen freezes up really fast. sometimes theres this high pitched beep that won't stop. and we'll have to turn it off manually. or sometimes, its sends us to an error page that is either black or blue.

I honestly don't know whats wrong with it.

I would love some help, thanx.

Well, we would need to see what the error said on the blue screen. Or you can try going into the event viewer and it should tell you what is causing your issues. You'll need to look at either the system or application sections of the event viewer.

The event viewer is a little utility that tells you different things about your computer when booting up/running/shutting down. If you get error messages while in windows, these messages will also appear in the event viewer. The easiest way to get to event viewer is to right click on "my computer" and click on manage, then when the windows loads up, click on event viewer on the left. Click on the plus sign next to event viewer so that it expands. Look in the the system and application boxes to see if there are any red x's and look at the error and it should tell you basically whats going on with the system. If you need help determining exactly what the errors say then post the exact error listed and we'll try to help you.
