Constantly locked out of Windows 2000?

On my network, I got the pop up the other day that I needed to change my password. I did, and within half an hour, after not mispelling the password at all, I was locked out of the network. My supervisor has to keep unlocking my account even though when I do log into things, I get the credentials right.

I made sure to log off all my remote sessions to other servers, etc. Any ideas?

when did that pop up come up ? during starting up (that's how it should be) or during any session ?
if it appeared during log on, then maybe your profile's gone or your su set it do deactivated
if it went like step two ... well ... you (and your su) have some troubles like trojan or fishing password
make a security check

tell your supervisor to check the password policy on your account it can be set to expire after a predetermined period of time. it may have been changed to run this way

Password policy is set for thirty days. After changing the password with a week left, this started happening. It continues to happen even now. There aren't any other sessions running (according to the servers).
