Constructing my new Computer. Any Advice? Anything i need to be careful of?

hi,

i just recently bought the parts for my new PC.
i bought:

CPU:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Box, Sockel AM3

RAM:
4GB-Kit G-Skill RipJaws PC3-10667U CL7

Mainboard:
Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3

Graphic:
Club3D Radeon 5770 1024MB, ATI Radeon 5770, PCI-Express

HD:
Samsung SpinPoint F3 1000GB, SATA II (HD103SJ)

Case with one Front Fan:
Xigmatek Asgard, ATX

Fan-Control:
Cooltek air velocity monitor 8,9cm (3,5") black with an additional fan:
Scythe Slip Stream 120 mm, 800rpm

plus some generic dvd burner, win7 64 dvd, and a 750watt power adapter

I just need some advice when i put all the parts together. Someone told me it should be as easy as playing with LEGO bricks but i really cant believe it is that easy.

1) So the first obvious question i have is: Do i really need nothing more (despite a screwdriver) to completely build a fully functional pc? Do i need some special cables?

2) The graphics card has a fan boxed. But i guess i still have to install it right? So do i actually need to apply the heatsink paste myself? What if i us too much? what if i use too less?

3)How do i install the fan-control device? Do i connect it to the motherboards fan connector that is allready connected to the frontfan?
If yes, is the only thing i need to do to make the fan control work or both fans: installing the other fan at the case and then put the cables into the fan-control?

4) After finally builing the pc. do i need to install bios or anything else before using the win7 dvd to install win7?

5) Is there anything in general a noob like me has to be careful of when putting all the parts i bought together?
Is there any possible complication or mistakes that most noobs make?

1- Yeah, it's pretty easy.

2- The fan on the GPU should already be attached.

3- I think you just plug the fans and a PSU cable into it and control them yourself.

4- Nope, the BIOS is already built into the motherboard.

5- Be careful not to bend the pins on the CPU, and make sure to install the standoffs under the motherboard.

Normally the thermal paste would be the hardest part, but the heat sink that comes with your processor should already have it applied.
