some of you may have seen my other thread about a CPU lead which couldnt rech the socket. because the CPU didnt have any power, i though this was causing the beeping noise.
i just got a extension lead for the CPU power cable and the noise still happens.

also i get no picture showing up on my monitor (no OS installed yet), but i think i have everything connected properly.
can anyone tell me what might be causing this problem?

EDIT: figured out i hadnt pluged in the graphics card power cable, i had no idea that it needed one because the instuctions where rubish.

one other problem, they gave me a connector for the GPU fan, but its just a connector with two wires coming out of it. what do i do with it?

sorry to post again, just looked at the graphics card box and found out the wires are for a v-check point.

so am i right thinking that i dont need to plug anything in for the fans?

The fans for the gpu should already be connected to the circuit board of the gpu. So I'm thinking that it should be good to go.

What gpu do you have?

nice card. Well the v-check point wires are for monitoring your gpu's voltage.

I would check all of your wiring again and reseat your ram. That might not fix it but at least then we can cross those off the list.

fix the beep?
i said in my first post that i fixed it, i hadnt pluged the power into the GPU.

Yes, I have had RAM not firmly seated and it produced the same really annoying beeping with a black screen.
