continuous pop up

Afternoon,

Looking to see if I can get some assistance. I am working on a laptop and a IE or Edge continues to open on its own.

I have ran malwarebytes, adwcleaner, combofix, superantispyware and tdsskiller.

Seems like nothing I throw at this laptop will remove it.

*edited* forgot I didn't run Comboxfix since it's Windows 10

Did you run junkware removal tool? Also if you ran combofix please post the log for me to go over. it won't remove everything.

Download OTL to your Desktop

Click on the green download box on that page to download OTL.

•Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

•Click on Minimal Output at the top

•Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.

◦When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL. Just post the OTL.txt file.

Hi John,

JRT was also ran.
The Combofix didn't run due to Windows 10 OS
I'll try OTL. That is is one I haven't tried.

OTL doesn't remove anything, it just produces a log. More entailed then what Hijackthis produces.

Actually I ran Malwarebytes once again in safe mode and it picked up a few more removals.

So far no more pop up.
