I recently seem to have contracted en.softonic.com (that's the best name I can give it). It's a popup that comes up in the lower right of my computer screen with random adverts:
I can't find it in the list of installed programs in the control panel (though it might be under a name I don't recognize), so I'm not sure how to remove it. I did a quick virus scan but it found nothing. I'll be doing a more intensive virus scan after I post this, but if anyone knows this program and knows how to remove it, I would very much appreciate your feedback anyway.
I am running Windows 10 Home.
