Convert files to playable DVD

There is probably some technical term for what I want to do, but I do not know enough about this. I have about 12 Quick Time videos each about 30 minutes long. I would like to modify them so I can pop it into any DVD player and play videos as usual. Now they can only be played on a Windows computer.

Can I do this and how? Thanks in advance for all who help.

Go to VideoHelp.com.

They have tutorials, and all the software listed. Basically a Single Layer DVD can hold about 2hours and 30 minutes.

So the (12) 30 minute Videos would need to be put on several DVD's. I would suggest putting 4 Videos on 1 DVD for best results.

Thanks for the site. I will be exploring it for a while. To help me understand this I would appreciate knowing the terminology of this area. What are my Quick Time movie clips called and what is the name of the type of files I am trying to convert to? John recommended DVD flick, and this site has many resources. Is there a simple and hopefully free or inexpensive program you recommend to do what I want?

VideoHelp.com has all the DVD creating Software listed, free and pay stuff.

I think quicktime are .mov files, and they need to be rendered to a DVD format VOB files.

As mentioned you have to recode it. It depends on what your player supports. And if you do it will be time consuming to encode. mine supports most formats, others are better now. Including quicktime.
