Is there any free programs that will convert say interlace video to other formats but let me keep it as interlace?

Try taking a look at VLC Media Player.

I have VLC and in the video convert setting I see a check box fo De Interlace.
If I Leave this with no check in it I gess it wont De Interlace.
So will it just pass my interlace video through or will it try to re interlace it again?
I can't ask the forum for VLC there website does not work with me it is jerky and slow
