Convert .jpg file to multimedia

Hi,
How to convert image file into multimedia file. if You have any solution than kindly suggest me, what is the way to convert .jpg to video file.

Jpeg to multimedia ?
Even if it's possible to do it, what is the achievement ? i mean JPEG is only a static picture, and a video contains dozens of frames... so whats the use ?

unless you just wanted to change the extension which is easy to do !!

Could be that he means software like "Photos to TV" where JPEG's are converted into a MPEG file and burnt to DVD for watching on tele.

MPEG files are for movies - you can burn a CD with JPEGs on it as long as the DVD player is compatible.
 
Most newer dvd players should support that format. Just make sure you get the right dvd's that your dvd player and pc support. Either dvd-r or dvd+r. Make sure to read the packages and see what company is supported!
