if you google avi to wmv then you will get many programs and some may even be freeware.

what size is the file? or how many do you have?

something called alive video converter, very easy to use and a good one

stoik video converter is what I used a whlile back. It worked very well for converting things to be used on my PDA, but I'm thinking their newest version isn't free...or something.

another way is if youre using windows and have windows movie maker, just put your avi file into it, and save it. it will automatically become a wmv
