Converting an old DVD case into a PC case

I have a couple old DVD player cases and thinking of converting into a PC.
Has any one tried this with success.....

Have started this project and I think it can be done, quite bit of modding to do but I hope to finish by years end, a computer that will look like a DVD player.
May be down the line try to use an old VHS tape player case.

What do you guys think? has any one tried this?

Its not really functionallity, just coolness. Go for it it would be sweet. On a vhs player see if you can replace it with a dvd drive so it looks sleek.

The idea is it will look like the original DVD but in actual fact will be a PC & the real challenge is to fit the workings of an entire PC in the case which will require extensive modding.
I have seen this done years ago & thought I will give it a go myself.
