Converting hundreds of .GIFs to .JPEG

Heya guys,

I have a collection of pictures in GIF and I would like to convert them all to JPEG so that I could use them on my PHP library of my page which does not recognize anything else than GIF and TIFF. I know how to convert them one by one in Photoshop and other tools but do you know of any program that would do so for multiple files at once?

Hmmm

Could anyone tell me how to set it up? I have tried a lot of things but could not get it to work :(

Step 1) Recording and Action
First open up any image. Second you need to record an action. on the right hand side there is a box labeled action, select it and create a new action with the button on the bottom, open up your picture and then select the action you made, press record. then save the image as the .GIF to the .JPEG then press stop recording.

Step 2)
Then open up the batch menu like i said before. under "action" you should be able to find the action you just did, it should be named whatever you named it. Then select the folder with the images in it. then press ok. it should start converting them.

This is the best desription i could do, it may not be uber accurate.

Great,

thanx a lot spacedude89. You saved me a lot of time. To see the fruits of your suggestion, have a look at my webpage (www.cz3rt.com) and in the menu, select Other galleries -> Google holiday logos.
