Converting mpegs to dvd format/burning

Greetings,
I have Nero v6 Enterprise Edition with all (I think) the available
plug-ins as well as Cyberlink Power producer ("pp")...I have attempted to convert mpegs to dvd format and burn to a dvd+rw disc with "pp" and the video burns fine but, there is no audio!...ugh!...Been at it for a day and not getting anywhere with it...Anyone ever use this program as I am intending to use it and with SUCCESS?

I also have Nero. can/does nero convert mpegs to dvd format for burning to a dvd+rw disc?...How?

not sure if nero can do that job, but for windows i use ConvertXtoDVD. it can convert almost all video formats to DVD video files, and then burn them all in one application so you dont need anything else. Fast too.

MPEG2 is only video no audio. MPEG1 is both audio and video.

nah Nero don't convert to dvd, many other programs like XILISOFT suite or the IMTOO suite can, but you can tris TMPGENC DVD author (i use it all day, get the job done)
