converting real file to avi

are there any programs that can conver real media to any format for dvd or vcd. The program doesn't have to be a free ware.

WinAVI is probably the most easily recognisable converter for this http://www.winavi.com/ . Certainly worth a look.

Doing a quick google search would have helped you find the program's home page, where all of its functions are laid out.

In short, yes, it converts MPEG to AVI and WMV, and probably some other conversions as well.

It's shareware, so try it out.

Divx has a bundle package that includes divx converter. Thats what i use, its a good tool.
