Converting songs...

ok, i have around 200 extremely well tagged songs (with album art, song title, artist, track numbers) that are .WMA files... i need a converter that i can mass convert these all into MP3 (for my iPod) but still not mess up the track tagging...

fast help will be much appreciated...:)

Well, convert them in itunes, into AAC format, 128 KBs.....that should work nice in your ipod....to convert them, go in itunes, put your songs in the library or folder, and right click them, then click on 'convert to AAC' . Then you will have 2 copies of that song, one in the orriginal format, and the new AAC song. Delete the old song, and you got it!:P songs will be between 2-4 MB big.

DANG, my files are protected... how did that happen? and am i screwed? cus i don't want to have to reput them on my computer...

Lol, let me guess, you uploaded them from CDs and put the protection thing on and reformated? I have done that once before:P

yea...:o
i used WMP i should have used iTunes... i didn't think they would be WMA and i didn't think they would be protected...

how can i convert 300 protected WMA files to MP3!!!! (iTunes say it can't convert cus they are protected)
what program (preferably free) would help me do this...
