Cool quiet fan

Hello all!

ok i'm looking for a fan thats 80mm or less in size with a high rpm and really quiet..that moves plenty of air. suggestions?

If you want quiet, you don't want small, high rpm fans.

You want larger, lower rpm fans.

Or, are you asking for the quietest 80mm fans available?

The more RPM's the louder the fan it is hard to find an 80mm fan that is quite and puts out a good amount of air without it it being expensive.

Pick any two.

If you want 80mm fans that are quiet and move a decent amount of air, you'll probably have to shell out for fans made by Noctua.

I chose this one right here for my intake and exhaust fans:
Enermax enlobal bearing
For me I prefered slightly less then optimal air flow with low noise, over optimal or excessive air flow and more noise.

It uses a "magnetic barometric" bearing which suspends the fan in a magnetic field so there really really quiet. They dont move alot of air but I find them adequate for me. My case supports 90mm fans also but they don't make these fans in 90mm, only 80 and 120.
