Only time ive ever seen those type issues is with premix coolants such as primochill ICE, Feser one, or Fluid XP. When used with distilled, the dye generally has no ill effects, i think it has to do with some of the corrosion inhibitors in those coolants.

well when i come to renew my coolant im going distilled with some silver in the loop....

no fancie colours cos its not worth it

Thats the way i do it, cheapest and provides the best temps, granted you are running a full copper/brass/nickel loop(otherwise you can get galvanic corrosion without corrosion inhibitors, but that really only affects cheap loops because most decent loops will be full copper/brass).

Also, a good hint if you get that crap in your blocks and it wont come out with scrubbing/etc...run some distilled vinegar through your loop for a day or two.

Blue, simply because you have blue lights and nothing else is going to show up as good. If you had UV lights with blue fans, then I would definitely say go with UV green or red.

this thread already had the convo going and it's too hard to move it over :P
