Alright, since we dont really have a thread like this as far as i know, i decided to create one. Basically, this is how it will work:
1. Post your Heatsink+Fan,Ambient Temperature(Celcius preferred), CPU, Overclock and voltage, and your reported cpu temperatures in order of core number.
Then, on the nest line, post your idle, line after that load temperatures by core number.
For example(I am making up voltages, temperatures, etc for this one)
Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with Yate Loon 120x120x25mm High Speed, Arctic Silver 5, 22C Ambient, Q6600, 3.2Ghz @ 1.35vcore
Idle: #0: 42c #1: 42c #2: 38c #3: 38c
Load: #0: 62c #1: 61c #2: 57c #3: 58c
2.Measuring Software:
Temperatures will be recorded with everest.
CPU Voltage recorded through the CPU-Z readout.
Overclocks must be at minimum 1hr Prime95 Stable
3. At end of post, post this information if you know it:
Batch Number
Stepping
Motherboard
Memory Speed
I will then maintain a list of results by Cooler, with a section for AMD cpu's, and a section for Intel CPU's.
If you have results from multiple fans, thermal interface materials, etc, be sure to post them. This is to help people decide what thermal interface materials and fans work best with certain heatsinks.
