Hey guys,

looking at some gpu coolers for my GT

which do you think would be best?

im trying to cut down on the noise produced by my system, and im starting with the fans and coolers.
so some of these dual cooler might be more noisy?

1)Scythe Musashi Dual Fan Graphics Card Cooler

http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products/ati-vga/musashi

how quiet are Scythe fans?

that cooler looks so sexy and the ramsinks are included.

2)Arctic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev. 2 VGA Cooler

http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2_&mID=105&language=en

cheaper than the Scyth, doesnt have a fan so would be silent but doesnt contain the ramsinks

3)Thermalright T-Rad2 VGA Cooler (ATI / NVIDIA)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-057-TR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=787

another good looking one

4)Zalman VNF100 Fanless

Silent

Please vote :D

Thanks for replies people!!!!!!

g4m3rof1337,what are your idle and load temps with that cooler?

im not sure which one to go with, the Scythe Musashi Dual Fan Graphics Card Cooler comes with everything, the ramsinks, fans where as the others dont.

also found this on overclockers for £20

reviews seem good.

I was going to go for the Accelero Twin Turbo before I got my GTX 260, the reviews of it are good I've heard it massively reducing the temperatures of the GT.

GPU 1 - 57
GPU 2 - 44

The top card runs out, it's getting the heat from the second card, and it's right below the NB.

looks like il go with that then, you get the ramsinks, fans and everythign with that which is what i wanted :)

Thanks Pablotec.

g4m3rof1337,hmm not bad,but my cooler i have on now idles around 44-45c and 67c load.

I don't think I have the fans on them, if they are, they're on low or off. They don't like clipping on, so I'm going to buy some thing 80mm fans and mount them on the coolers. And we may have different cards, when I installed the coolers, I noticed a dramatic difference, then a 10c drop with the fans on.

yeah i remember you writing something about them not clipping on right.

il go with the Accelero Twin Turbo, great price, great reviews, fans included :)

just wish i had seen the Accelero Twin Turbo, before making the poll :(

well actually i'd go for the thermalright hr-03gt which is about the best cooler you can get for your 8800gt With some modding you can add 2 120mm fans on it. I have seen it somewhere but i can't remember where anymore.

Sorry to revive this thread, but do you guys know how the Zalman VF900 compares to the VF1000? I'm also looking for a new 8800GT cooler and I narrowed it down to those. Every forum I've been to has given mixed opinions on this, the VF900 is $32, the VF1000 is $42.
