Cooler, Is the paste Ok?

I would leave it a couple days at the very least and then only put new paste on (even cheap stuff) if you think it's too hot after it's had time to set. The only time I mess with paste after putting a heatsink on is if the heatsink isn't working and your CPU is overheating. Your internal temperature at load is only 47 and that's far from what I would consider overheating.

The touch and smudge that you described earlier isn't something I would worry about either, the paste seems like it's doing it's job.

I got my new cooler today and started to fit it...

I put it on and got 3 clips in and then noticed that the clips on the 4th leg were bent slightly, so I had to take it off to align them again.

But some of the paste had already stuck to the CPU and some to the heatsink, I then stuck the cooler back on...

Is this Ok, or should I of put some other paste on after taking it off, I hadn't turned the computer on though.

My temps are:

Idle:
Core 0: 32c
Core 1: 33c

Load:
Core 0: 46c
Core 1: 47c

Are these Ok?

I've done that so many times with my AC Freezer 7 Pro. It's harder than hell to get those clips to work right sometimes.

Well, my idle temps today seem to be 31c on both cores, so I guess it's Ok... Sometime along the line I may consider buying some AS5, but not just yet :) Thanks for the help Cromewell! :D

Yeah, It is isn't it.
Although, it's a lot easier than having to take the motherboard out and such... :)
