What new case, if any do you think I should get?

I'm looking at spending about £50... The Coolermaster CM 690 seems like a very good option, the only thing that I don't like, is the lack of side window :P

It needs to be able to have excellent cooling!
Great Cable managment!
Look great!

What do you think, would it be worth it over what I have at the moment?
Thanks!

Heres the pictures you requested.

lol :P

It looks awesome! Shouldn't your temps be awesome with that thing?

Also, what spaces do you have the fans on?

Also, wouldn't it be better to have the two top 120mm;

The rear one exhuast and one nearest the front of the case intake, to give the Zalman fresh air?

Thanks man!

Cripes that a lot of fan space!

BTW, messy room <duck> :P

Korn, no clear panel either, but the case in my sig is definitely worth checking out.

In theory yes, but that will add a lot of turbulence to the case interior. Best bet is to have a smooth a Front to Rear flow as possible. Granted CPU ducts help, as do upper exhaust fans and VGA vents, but when introducing too many Intake angles, you have a greater chance of 'hot spots' inside the case where air just doesn't move.

You should definitely check out the NZXT Apollo. I own it and so do a couple of other people on here I think. It's a fantastic case for $60. And it has a side panel. I bought two more fans and added one to the front and cut a hole in the top and added an exhaust there but you don't have to do that.

The front two fans intake, the side panel intake, the top two exhaust, the bottom one intake and the rear one exhaust.

I have great mobo temps with it, just have a bad cpu chip, the 80mm green fan dropped 4 C off cpu temp btw

Ah, Yeah, the one on the back is a great idea!
Where is your second front fan, I see the one at the bottom, but not another one?
I'm going to be putting my Sythe Kama in there, so that should help...

Do you think it'd help me out with my E6300 woes? :P

I'm getting a Corsair HX-520 so cable managment should be a breeze in that thing! ;)

You should definitely check out the NZXT Apollo.

I'll take a look at that too, thanks!

i have the CM690, and i'm absolutely in love with it. first of all, it has PLENTY of room for anything you need to put in there. tons of fan options, including one on the bottom of the case. i especially like the hard drive trays and their placement. i give it a 10/10, for sure.

I have the 93 cfm fan at the front in between the cd drive and fan controller, its held onto bits of metal that were there, replacing it with an adapter from coolermaster soon, sorta like the sycthe.

I dont think it will drop your cpu temps that much, maybe 5 C if you put a 80mm fan at the back too.

Your motherboard temp should be pretty nice though and graphics card if you get a better fan on the side panel than the supplied stock one

HDD is around 30 C with the front fan
